The Cupcake of Glory

The goal of Crazy Weekend Project #4 is to build an application that can emulate a conservative talking head by posting realistic right-wing nonsense to an account on Twitter.  As I said previously, I plan to prove that many right-wing lunatics are simply mindless robots that repeat what they’re told by creating a mindless robot that repeats what it’s told and can pass for a right-wing lunatic.

The measure of success is that the Twitter account will have to get unsolicited, demonstrably human followers, indicating that the application has passed the Turing Test and that people believe it is a human.

There will, of course, probably have to be an exemption for the five-day Crazy Project Weekend time limit for this to occur.  For this, I propose that the program will have to be allowed to run, unaltered ((except for major bugfixes for stability issues and the like)), for several weeks to see if anyone bites.
